Dr. Alvarez takes great pride in his work, therefore places a great emphasis on patient education, compassionate care and consistent results. Hence why he is recognized and renowned by many for the quality of his work. Pam Alvarez has served the community as a Registered Nurse for 34 years. She has owned and operated her own medical spa, Beautiful You Medical Aesthetics, for 19 years under the medical direction of her husband, Dr. Carlos Alvarez, M.D. Her vast knowledge of the latest aesthetic treatments has made her one of the most beloved Aesthetic Nurse Specialists in Kern County. She strives to stay up-to-date with the most advanced treatments in the aesthetic world so that her clients leave feeling rejuvenated and restored. She also aims to educate her clients on the benefits of skincare and aesthetic treatments so that each client has a plan tailored to their overall health.

May Bonnin is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She is an experienced injector with 12+ years of experience with neuromodulators, fillers, and lasers. She has attended many advanced trainings and is continually advancing her knowledge and skills. Aesthetics is her passion. She always aims for a natural look for her patients. She is extremely detailed with a keen eye and a steady hand with injections. She loves interacting with patients and is passionate about making her patients’ experience worthwhile. She believes that achieving patient satisfaction and gaining trust is the best reward of her job.

With over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and 18 years of experience in the medical aesthetic industry, Vicky Flores Pola, R.N., is the perfect addition to the Beautiful You Medical family. Vicky’s passion is to make people look and feel beautiful which confirms why she has such a loyal and growing clientele. Pola takes great pride in her techniques and her goal is to provide an unparalleled aesthetic experience. Vicky is married with three beautiful children and enjoys staying active with dance and exercise.
Helen Haymond, RN

Helen has been a registered nurse for over 30 years. Prior to coming to Bakersfield in 1994, Helen trained in England and nursed in Saudi Arabia. Helen has been working in the Medical Aesthetics field for 19 years and is skilled in the use of injectables, micro needling, dermaplaning, and laser treatments. She loves to stay atop current and innovative techniques to enhance the existing beauty of her clients and achieve their goals, with little or no downtime.

With 19 years of experience in skincare and 10 years of experience in medical aesthetics, Nelson has a breadth of knowledge in the industry. He also has an undisputable skill in creating a relaxing and therapeutic environment for his clients. He specializes in microneedling, microdermabrasion, oxygen treatments, medical peels, light therapy, pigment correction, and anti-aging and acne treatments.
